This antique tent band, hand woven by the Yomut tribe in Turkmenistan, dates back to the late 1800s to early 1900s. The aging wool and fine craftsmanship suggest its exact age cannot be determined. Made from vegetable dyed wool with silk highlights in the Zili weave technique, this full tent band measures approximately 11" x 48'6" (excluding fringes and ties) and is in remarkably good condition for its age. The intricate design features radiant diamonds in shades of red, blue, and white, bordered by bold black accents.
