Incredible and very rare and important 1977 Haute Couture Emanuel Ungaro set. Constructed of a beautiful and very high quality silk that drapes and flows beautifully. This fabric choice allowed Ungaro to use the brightest mist vivid colors, which he did to the extreme. Brilliant primaries are mixed masterfully. The top is a long tunic style with wide kimono sleeves that are banded in black and red. The front plunges to the waist and is wired inside so that it stays perfectly in place. The tunic wraps and snaps to close under the band at the waist. Its skirt is open full down each side and screened with that brilliant design on both sides. It has its original vivid yellow silk skirt that sits underneath and the side openings of the tunic allow for the flash of color. Unlined but beautifully finished inside as one would expect. Top is labeled and has a numbered tape under it. As brilliant as the photos are it does not do the set justice!
