The check print pairs beautifully with the steel solid and is used in both the bodice, sleeves and belt in the dress and the lining for the jacket which falls into iconic waterfall folds at the front. (a classic early 1930s feature seen in many dresses and jackets of the time). You will also observe the beautiful point at the sleeve end cuff. Typical of the 30s, the dress skirt reaches mid to low calf on average height ladies.
